Square register customer display

The customer display with my square register keeps going on and off

it connects for a couple of seconds and disconnects over and over, i have tried using the cable and attach to register and does the same thing

Does anyone know how to fix that? thank you

Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you're having trouble with the customer facing display on Register!

 

To confirm, is the screen flickering on and off, or is the messaging "display connected" flicking on and off while the display remains on?

 

If it's the whole screen, definitely make sure the USB cable is firmly plugged in on both ends and that the screen is properly docked when attached to the Register. You can find some troubleshooting steps to run through here. If you're certain this is all connected properly and are still having issues, please get in touch with our support team for more help here! If there's an issue with the hardware we'll be able to replace it 👍
