If someone uses the chip reader with their debit card, if it has the same purchase limit like the tap or it follows like a regular debit purchase and other machines?  Thank you for your help!

Welcome to the Community, @Lakeland - 

Normally, it would follow the regular debit purchase process. The only time there could be limitations, is if the customer has them in place with their bank or card company.
