I'm trying to see how many of a particular item sold each day, and I hit a wall each time I try to make it easy. I have a little restaurant and we have some prep items that I'd like to keep track of their daily sales. It would be nice, for instance, to set up an email report with the sales totals for those items each day. I find that the 'item sales' page is very difficult to negotiate, especially because there is no item search function, so you have to scroll down until you find it. I need totals for 10-12 items per day, out of 40-50 items we sell, so it really is a time consuming effort. I understand that I can export the data and search for it in excel, but again, that's a lot of work for the fairly simple idea of "How many of these did I sell today?". Any advice would be appreciated.
