Sort with multiple categories

Is it possible for customers to sort by multiple categories?

Example, we sell sunglasses.

I want to be able to sort by brand, and gender

I see I can sort by brand OR gender

If you have the sunglasses in multiple categories they will be searchable.  For instance if you have womens Ray Ban, you could have a category for Ray Ban and female sunglasses, put that pair of glasses in each category. If someone does a search for either one the sunglasses would show up.
