I am trying to set up a multibuy discount for a category on my website.
The discount is a "2 for £x", ie when a customer adds two items from this category into their basket, the discount is automatically applied so that the total is reduced.
For example, if all items in a category are priced at £100 each, and the offer is two for £180, the discount needs to be automatically applied when the customer adds two items to their basket.
I have been through all of the articles and help files and there is absolutely no information whatsoever on how to do this online.
The only information available is for doing this on a POS system which is completely useless to me.
Can someone please tell me how to set up these types of discounts online.
This is BASIC functionality for every ecommerce platform.
