Schedule pickup on specific dates at variable locations?

We are a mobile shop that pops up at various locations (other brick-and-mortar businesses that host us for the day), and our schedule is completely different every month -- so we don't have set hours of operation in any one spot. Our time and day of the week that we pop up is almost always the same (Fridays from 5-8pm, for example), but we are at a different host location and the dates when we are at our recurring locations are never the same. (For example, we might be at location A on the first Friday of this month and the second Friday of next month, at location B on the second Friday of this month and the third Friday of next month, etc.)

 

Is there any way to specify variable dates and locations for pick-up orders? We see that you can set a schedule for certain days of the week and times, but you can't specify the pickup location beyond the business location. You can also set a schedule for each location, but you can't pick specific days of the month for that location.

 

Is the only work-around to create a "location" for every host business at which we have ever done a pop-up, and then to manually change the location for pick-up every week (sounds like a hot mess). Not sure if other businesses who are pop-up based or mobile have had similar problems or found a work-around for this. Thank you!

At this time, you would need to create a location for each area, then manually edit the days you are available using the business hours modal, and the blackout calendar. 

 

The product teams are always looking to improve this feature in particular, and I'll be sure to pass your feedback along to the teams. 😊

Thank you, BernadetteA. Does that mean we can select specific days (e.g., May 14), or do you just mean we can edit the days of the week under business hours? I don't recall seeing that function, which is really what we need, or a blackout calendar. I'm assuming by blackout calendar you mean we can choose specific dates when we would not be available at that location? Thank you again. I appreciate your time.

You're welcome, and yes, that is correct. The blackout calendar would allow you to mark off dates you would not be available. The option to do the opposite - select specific dates to be available is still a feature request. 😊

That is the one place I found to select specific dates, and it looks like you have to add every individual day of the year in a separate selection to make it unavailable (which is extremely tedious). I don't see an actual calendar on which you can select dates. I am also not finding any help articles that specifically speak to this function.
