SSL/Accept payments

I need an SSL certificate and I'm not sure exactly how to do that. My site also says it is not accepting payments right now, so I suspect it's because I'm lacking the SSL. Anyone know the best way to solve these issues? Thank you!!

Hey @LyndseyUllom.  Can you please post the URL for your website?  All Square Online stores automatically have SSL and certificates, so that should not be the problem at all.  Having the link to your website will help verify that part.

As for your site not accepting payments, there are various reasons.  But let’s get the SSL part out of the way first.

Thank you for that.  So, a couple of things:

First, your domain registrar seems to be GoDaddy, is that correct?  That is what WhoIs.com is reporting.

Second, are you using Weebly or Square Online for your site builder/host?  If it is Weebly (as reported by hostingchecker.com), there is an SSL setting in your website editor’s settings to turn on SSL protection.  Go there and toggle it on and go from there.  If you are using the Square Online editor, then there is definitely a Square problem and I’ll tag a few Square moderators here to help resolve this.

I do note that, indeed, the site is not secure and that going to https://lyndseyullomart.com/ causes an error.

Thanks @TheRealChipA for providing some options for solutions!

@LyndseyUllom - From what I can see, your Square site is showing as secure and you are able to accept payments. Can you confirm that you are seeing the same on your end?
