We are I the process of updating our SEO inputs for our Square website. I downloaded the item library from the POS dasboard in to an excel sheet. I noticed columns are present to input, seo titles, descriptions and permalinks and thought thiscwoukd be a mich better way to add the sro terms rn mass, however when uploaded these do not sync with the website.
We get a sync if we add seo to the website library after publishing, these appear in the POS library export sheet.
It would be great if the seo terms could be entered via the pos dashboard that then sync with the website. Much more efficient for large catalogue data input.

Does the SEO only sync from the website to the POS and not the other way at the moment? Are these new seo columns from the exported item library part of a future update? 🤔

It looks like we missed your post - sorry for the delay here!
The SEO information (title, description and permalink) that you add or edit from the import/export item library tool should sync to your website.
I've done the test on my own account and could not recreate the issue you're experiencing. The edits done on my imported file synced to my website straight away.
Is the information you add on the Excel file syncing to your online items at all (from Square Online go to Website > Online Items)? You might have tried a few troubleshooting steps already, but did you re-published your website after importing your new item library?
@Lou8 hi there, so we were hoping to download the item library, populate the seo fields, import back. This data shows in the Square dashboard but doesn't appear to sync to the website item library. We then went to the Web editor and published tge website to activate a sync. But no joy. I'll take another look tomorrow to see if we are missing something simple.
Sounds like there could be an issue with your item sync @doc_choc.
If your SEO data is still not populating over to your Square Online items and website, I suggest contacting our Support team. They'll be able to run some tests for you, or escalate it to our Ecom team to try and force the sync.
