Hi everyone,
I have had an email from Square today giving me a month's notice that the Professional Plan (£12 a month) is being removed and next month I will be automatically upgraded to the Plus Plan at £24 a month (unless I switch to a free plan?)
Are you kidding me?!?! I am a small business just trying to get by and now I'm essentially being held hostage to pay twice as much money to keep my website going as is?!
I already have features on the professional plan that don't work, break my website and have remained unsolved and now Square is forcing me into a Plus Plan?
I have had absolutely no communications prior to today to give me any sort of warning about this?
This is the busiest time of year for me - and my website needs to remain as it is! I don't have the time to build a brand new website with another provider and I can't afford to pay DOUBLE all of a sudden?
Can anyone shed any light on this? Am I missing something? This seems wholly unethical, with horrific timing to screw over small businesses just before Christmas?!
