Product weights and dimensions

Hoping this is not redundant

I have multiple products I would like to set up on square site but confused on the following

1.  have 2 shipping profiles set up with size of boxes to be used for orders of 1 item which would be a smaller box and a second shipping box profile that I would like to use if 2 or more items are ordered

I realize I can set up product weights but cannot find a place to enter product dimensions however.

if product dimensions cannot be set up how would the correct shippinng box be chosen at check out for multiple item order

example - Product 1  order 1 piece dimensions 4x4x6  would use shipping box profile 6x6x8 with cost of $11

Example Product 2 order  3 pieces product dimension 4x4x6 would use shipping box profile of 14x6x8 with shipping cost of $21.60

if not possible what is the sense in multiple shipping box profiles if the shipping box profile is not chosen by product dimensions ordered

Thanks for reaching out! I understand the confusion, Square’s shipping settings can be a little limiting when it comes to box selection based on product size. At the moment, Square Online does not support product dimensions, only product weight. Because of this, shipping profiles cannot automatically choose a specific box size based on the combined dimensions of the items in the cart. Instead, Square calculates rates using the weight rules you set inside each shipping profile. The full breakdown of how you can do that can be found here!
