PDF not showing on mobile devices (here's an alternative)

Tried to embed a PDF menu on a Square Online site (paid plan) and learned something new...

PDFs don’t show up on mobile.

Here’s what I recommend instead:

Option 1: Convert the PDF to an image (Canva or even Preview on Mac works great). Not perfect—but at least it shows up.

Option 2: Use a tool like Elfsight PDF Viewer to embed the PDF via custom code. You’ll need the upgraded Square Online to use code blocks, but this workaround does make the PDF viewable on mobile.

Sometimes the simplest things turn into little tech puzzles, Hope this saves you some time!

Thank you so much for this helpful tip, @websitechicks! It is great that you found a workaround. 

A quick question, have you tried to access your PDF's from any other mobile devices too? Your workaround is super helpful, but I was not aware that PDF's are not showing up on mobile devices. Just wanting to double check there is nothing we need to look into further.
