We use Square on line for our pop up takeaway. Customers pre order and collect from us at a particular time.
We generally use the "order in progress" then "order ready" and finally "order collected". Is there any way to look back on completed orders and see the times these happened.
I am in particular keen to see the amount of time between "order ready" and "order collected"
Hey @ricesnaps, thanks for raising this! While there isn't a way to see when an order was marked as ready/in progress, you should be able to see a record of when an order is marked as collected.
On your Square Dashboard > Orders Overview, change your filter to Completed. Here, when you click into any order, there'll be a green banner that said "Order Fulfilled Date X Time Y". This indicate the time the order was marked as either delivered or pick up within the Square Point of Sale app.
You can also see this information within the app under the Orders tab and also filtering for just Completed orders only.
I can definitely see how having a record of the various stages the order goes through would be a useful thing to track so I'll be sure to surface this with our Product team as well.
Ooooo! That would be really interesting to see - I don’t use all the stages here, I jump from in progress to collected.
I don’t think there’s any way to see that data but would cool to see the breakdown.
Even being able to see the time the order was collected would be good. We have had a couple of customers say there food was cold and I am fairly certain they were late collecting, but knowing the time would help prove that
