We too would find this feature useful! To give you some idea of how we would use this and why it would benefit us....
We run a Gift Store where we make personalised gifts and frames. Some of these frames are printed photo frames. Whilst we are able to give the customers the option to provide "Text" customisations - we want to be able to give them the option to upload images too.
To give you an idea of the type of "customer experience" we would like to offer... check out the link below -

You can see when they press create print, they can select frame and colour (which we can currently do on Square Online). They can then type in their text personalisation (which again we can do) but also Preview it (not currently available). They then are able to upload and preview an image.
Now the "preview" bit is a luxury - would be nice but not key to us. The main bit is the image upload. On our website you can see we have created a third party form to allow them to send us the images. But it would be nice to keep it all in house and linked to the order. https://www.signature-home.co.uk

I would definitely love this feature added. I have a baking business and love the use of square BUT hate that my customers can’t upload their decor that they have bought or inspiration pictures for me to quote them on. It involves me replying without a quote and telling them to send photos after that and THEN I have the potential of a lost client due to the quote not being immediately available. A lot of times, clients want quotes quickly so that they can decide whether to proceed or move on with a different seller. I think with the upload feature, it would help eliminate the “waiting” with the back and forth emails.

@DannyH - having the ability to allow file uploads on the product page or during checkout would be a great addition for us as I detailed above? How do we pass this for consideration by the product team?
This is a much needed option for us and many of my friends that use square for their website. 98% of our customers like to provide inspiration photos to us and there is currently no way for them to do that within the same contact/order form ono square. It requires them to either use another form or make a separate contact point via email. PLEASE consider working on this feature ASAP!
