You don't have to have the point of sale system to use the online store. You can do everything including managing orders through the online dashboard and weebly dashboard. You might choose to use the point of sale app to notify you of online orders as it is a little faster and easier to manage and you don't have to have your computer right there, but it is not required. I converted from the old school cash register to square and would never go back. The point of sale app can function just the same, but I do admit, I miss those old buttons versus the touch screen.
