Online Order Pickup Day Item Summary

Is there a way to organize a summary of all items being picked up on a certain day? For example when we have Croissants, Danish, or Breads we are taking tickets and manually typing them into excel so the night baker can prep what we need for the next day pickup. This leaves room for human error.

It would be nice if we could compile all items for a specific pickup day:

(29) Croissants
(12) Danish
(8) Sourdough Breads 

etc.

I saw a way to export orders to excel but this didn't supply an item  summary by when the items were going to be picked up. Any guidance on this would be very helpful. Thank you!

Is there no way to do this? Think during the hackathon someone had requested this.. think it got a bit of up votes. Hopefully it's coming soon.

Hey @ABGbake! Thank you for taking the time to post and I apologize that this thread has gone unseen. This is currently a feature request, but I really see the usefulness of grouping up the orders for a business like yours so you can make the items in bulk instead of one by one.

Hello AshleyK, 

I am also in need of this as it gives my chefs a heads up on the total orders of each item daily before he sets out his ingredients for preparations. Otherwise he ends up making items blind without an indication of how many total items he needs to prepare. As orders come in throughout the day, he can add on but at the moment, my staff is taking awhile manually collating the total numbers order by order which is then prone to human error.
