Online Checkout - Ticketed Event - Google Pay error

Hi, I'm seeing a persistent error message from Google Pay, when testing a particular Online Checkout item, which is of the event ticket type.

 

The error message is "There was an error with your order. Please close this payment form and try again."

 

The transaction is successful when entering card details direct in Square, bypassing Google Pay.

If the transaction goes through when you're manually entering card details but not with Google Pay, please check to make sure that Google Pay is fully setup on your device and that the details (card numbers, billing address, etc.) are all correct and match what's your card-issuing bank has on file.

 

If you've checked that everything is setup correctly and the error still persists, the best thing to do is to contact our Support team directly with the payment information. The team will be able to track down the particular payments and check why it was declined.

Thanks. It seems to be related to the Shipping Address field in Google Pay. This transaction should not have an associated shipping address. Could that be the problem?

 

I have tried it on different devices, with different Google Pay accounts.

 

It is not a decline as such, as it's not possible to get that far.

Do you have the exact screenshot of the error message you're getting @CVS_Kevin? If you don't mind sending that to me in a private message along with the address that's currently setup for Google Pay, I can definitely take a look into this on my end to see how we can resolve it.
