Here in VA sales tax is 6% and my store(s) are configured as such. For in-store purchases the tax calculation works properly: sub-total + sales tax. Online, however, it does not. It currently takes the sub-total and deducts the value of sales tax then adds it back in to arrive at the listed price on our webstore. In other words, if something costs ten bucks you only pay ten bucks. Whether you look at this as a 6pct online discount, or my paying your sales tax, I'm losing money and reporting incorrectly. I only have one tax configuration that both b&M and on-line pull from so how one is right and the other I cannot understand. I've already considered nexus states but whether customers are in or out of state the problem persists. I have also made sure that the receipt tax display option is toggled off even though that should have no bearing on the calculation, just how it prints on the receipt, etc. What in the actual... is going on, and how to I fix it? Superficially all settings seem a-ok.
HI, have you setup your Taxes on the Online Dashboard?

I have a similar problem. My question is should I tax shipping rates and how do I hide certain shipping rates for specific items to keep people from choosing the wrong rate, at checkout?
