I’m looking for some clarification regarding the sale of raffle tickets through Square.
We are a non-profit football association planning to hold a fundraising raffle to support our youth football program. The raffle prize is an electric bike, and all proceeds will be used to purchase football equipment for the children in our program.
To avoid the high fees charged by third-party raffle platforms, we would like to process ticket purchases through Square and then manually issue the official raffle tickets to ensure they fully comply with the requirements of our gaming licence.
I’ve read several discussions online, but I’ve found conflicting information about whether Square permits the sale of raffle tickets for charitable fundraising.
Could you please confirm whether our intended use is allowed under Square's policies? If it is permitted, are there any specific requirements or restrictions we should be aware of?
