I sell t shirts on my site. I have a modifier set up to allow them to pick different style shirts for example a tank top or a ladies shirt or a basic t shirt. I have my modifier set to only allow them to pick one modifier per item. However, it isn't working. You can choose more than one shirt style in one item. Any help or suggestions on what I might be doing wrong? Does this modifier have to be changed in more than one place on the site?
Hello @StaciWied 👋
I took a look at a couple of your items on www.atouchofglassneb.com
I'll use Create Some Summer Magic as an example.
Your color modifier is required but in the case of the styles, it is optional, and the customer can opt to not pick a style at all. There is also no max for this modifier, so the customer can select all the styles.
If you want to make this modifier required and allow only one of them to be selected, you can go into the Site Items page, select the item you need to edit, and click the three dots to the right of this modifier, then click Customize. You'll be able to select a Minimum required and Maximum allowed choices for this particular modifier. If you set the minimum and maximum to 1, the modifier will be required and customers will only be able to select one option.
Hope this helps, but please let me know if you have questions.
Thank you ✨
Thank you so much. This fixed the problem. Is there by chance a way to batch change items. I have over 233 items that I will need this modifier applied to. Or am I stuck going through them one by one?
Hello @StaciWied 👋
I apologize for the delay here.
I am glad to hear the issue with the one item has been fixed.
You can also toggle on the "Customer can only select one modifier" option on your Modifiers page.
To locate this option go to your Item Library > Modifiers > Select desired modifier.
If that gives you any issues, it will be best to reach out to our direct customer support team for assistance.
Thank you!
