Manually select relevant products/cross sell

Hi - I'd like the ability to be able to manually select relevant products to show on a product page. For example I have a particular artwork I sell as a print, framed print, canvas print, cushion and tote bag. Each have their own product listing as various sizes are available. However when a customer lands on the product page of one, I'd like a way I could easily direct them to other options for the same artwork. Is this possible or perhaps can I make a feature request please? Thanks in advance for your help! Diane.

Hey @HandonArt, thank you for your post!

So you can technically do this by customizing item pages on your Square Online site and adding a Similar Items section. 

The similar items section, specific to your item pages in Square Online, is a section that displays additional products you sell on an individual item’s product page. This can be an easy way to show your customers what additional items they can add to their baskets that go well with what they’ve already added (e.g. a drink, a matching hat, etc.).

To add a similar items section to an item page on your site:

1. In your Square Online site editor, open an item page you’d like to add the similar items section to.
2. Toggle on Similar Items in the editing panel.
3. Select the section to see the different aspects of it you can customise further.
4. Complete your edits and Publish your site to see the changes live.

However, please note that this section will display up to 10 items that are in the same category, but you will not be able to choose which items are displayed. If this is what you are trying to do, this would be considered a feature request. I can definitely see why this would be useful for you though! I'll make sure to pass on your feedback to our team to take into consideration.

Hi - thanks for your response. Yes I have that toggled on - but as you say, it's not quite as specific as I would like! Thanks for passing it onto the team. I think that would be really useful.

This would be very useful for us too, just the option of either selecting manually or perhaps choosing the category that creates the 'similar' list.
