Managing orders with Square Online Store

Hi,

We have been using the Square online store here in the UK and its been working well in terms of generating sales. However as the sales have grown we have noticed that the step flow from receiving the order to printing out orders, changing order status and being able to print shipping labels has become challenging when dealing with a large volume of orders. For example on the orders section in the Square POS of system you can change the status to in progress, which is a nice function to have, but this is not available when you log in to the Weebly side of the online store. Also here in the UK we do not always get the best rates for delivery from the couriers you have aligned with in the US so a way to print out a generic shipping label would be good. We also sell on other online platforms and they offer nice features like daily reports for orders to fulfil that day, one nice very simple function shows when an order has been printed by displaying a little icon next to the order, great for when dealing with lots of orders on a daily basis. What you have done so far is great, but a little clunky at times and needs to be better. Take a look at some of the others out there like Shopify and give some of their functionality to your online store platform. It shouldn't be to difficult but will help make life easier for us users. We actually specialize in creating affordable, custom solutions and recently built a very cool, custom Fulfillment KDS. We could easily add the print icon to it, so you can see if it was already printed and one to print it instantly too.

This isn't very hard stuff to do if you want to get it done just like you need it to be!

A big hang up is no way to print a delivery label without having a Shippo account and a FedEx or UPS courrier account. Doesn't have to be fancy just easy, simple and accessible as you traverse the fulfilment process. At the moment, cutting, pasting just seems a like counter intuitive.  Function to have a sender return address on the label would help. Thanks 🙂
