Looking for an alternative website to Squares Weebly

I own an ice cream and coffee shop and I want to be able to have a better website then we have for online ordering. Weebly is horrible, the way the sites look, work, the flow, categories, etc…. It’s the worst website I have ever used and we are losing business using it. I need to upgrade or switch to something more advanced that works with Square and can still print orders as they come in, book parties online, sell retail. Anyone know of anything that works well? I know Shopify well and love it but I keep reading they aren’t compatable without 3nd party apps and that’s going to cost more then I want to spend probably. Please help?

No thank you. I am looking for something I can do myself as I have built websites in both Shopify and 3dCart and managed them. Square is the issue I have,

What makes your orders print is Square's order system, not Weebly. Any website that puts the order into Square keeps printing exactly as it does now, so you can change the website without touching your kitchen setup.

Two ways that work:

1. Keep Square only for the ordering and checkout, and put a better website in front of it on your own domain. Every "Order online" button goes straight to your Square ordering page, so orders still print, and the site itself can look and flow however you want. Party bookings can run through a Square Appointments booking page with payment up front or a card on file, and retail items sit in the same item library and show up online.
2. A custom site that sends each order into Square itself. Orders land in Square and print like in-store ones, and the whole menu and checkout match your site. More work to build, but nothing feels like Weebly.

You're right about Shopify: its orders don't reach Square's printers without a paid connector app, so you'd end up paying for both.

Is most of your online ordering pickup, or do you deliver too?

Suraj's split is right: keep Square for orders/printing, and put a site you actually like in front of it.

If you want to DIY today:

1. In Square Online (or your current Weebly order page), copy the public Order Online URL that already prints to the kitchen.

2. Build a simple homepage elsewhere (even a free static host or a tool you already know) with menu photos, hours, and a big "Order online" button that goes to that Square URL.

3. Point your domain A/CNAME at the new site when you're happy with it. Leave Weebly unpublished later so you don't have two live homes fighting DNS.

4. Parties: Square Appointments booking page + pay upfront or card on file, linked from the same site. Retail items stay in the Square item library.

That way you keep kitchen printing and ditch the Weebly storefront look without paying for a Shopify↔Square connector.

If most orders are pickup, start with that Order Online button alone before rebuilding the whole menu. Are you mostly pickup, or delivery too?
