Keep getting error when trying to edit my receipts

HI there, new to Square.

I'm wanting to add my logo and edit some details into my square receipts, but everytime i do so, it pops up with an error stating i need a correct email address, however i'm not seeing any place to even put in an email address. It doesn't matter what i try changing in the receipt, this error will pop up and it won't let me save my changes.

Could i please get some help?

Hi there, @nushka 👋 Thanks for reaching out here! We want to welcome you to the Seller Community. Very happy to have you join us!

This sounds very strange, indeed! Would you mind providing a screenshot of the issue you are encountering here? We would love to get some direct visibility on it.

In the meantime, is this same error message displaying if you try and edit your receipt settings using a different browser?

I will keep an eye out for your response!

Thanks @Joe for the reply.

Yes it seems very strange and i'm not sure what's going on.

I have tried logging off and relogging on, same issue.

And i have tried just waiting to see if the bug would just fix itself but it's been a week now.

here is a screen grab of the error message.

It pops up anytime i attempt to change any info. And as you can see, i cannot save.

There is also no area i can put an email address to fix it.

And my email attached to my account works, because i get other square emails.

If you click Edit Details next to the Business tab you will see an option to add or edit the email. I don't think this should or would be the reason for the error you see, but it's the only place I can think of on this page that would allow you to edit the email.

Can you also try editing the page from a different browser in private or incognito mode just to make sure it's not some type of one-off cache/cookie error?

Joe can confirm, but if you are still having troubles after these suggestions it may be best to reach out to support directly.
