Items in Library not showing in online store

We have a quilt shop and are trying to open an online store.  The most items will be sold in whole number quantities like spools of thread, notions, etc.  However, items such as fabric are sold by the yard of 1/4, 1/2, 1, etc.

Since the online store can only do whole number, I found a posting on how to create a variation to change the unit of issue pricing to 1 item equals a quarter yard.  In theory, we can use yardage for the shop and quarter yardage for the online (2 items would be 1/2 yards).  After creating this second pricing, I cannot see the items to add to the online store.  Both items I was testing have visibility selected on the dashboard.

Thanks...Mike

Hello @RQH_AbileneTX !

Mike, there could be a couple of things that are fouling things up for you.

-When you're in the online item library (Dashboard -> Online -> Items -> Site Items), try clicking on the Add Item then Add from Item Library buttons in the upper right. Some times variations don't automatically sync.

-If you're not seeing the variations when viewing the website from a customer standpoint, try clearing your cache and cookies then restarting the browser. It may be looking at an older version of your page.

If these don't help please reply with your website so we can continue to troubleshoot!

Ryan,

Thanks for the advice.  I was able to get the variation pricing to work.  However, the problem I discovered is the items I cannot see any more are the ones that I removed from the items list in the online portion.  I don't know if that might have caused it to be permanently removed from the online store.   If that is the case, I might have to remove them from the dashboard and then reinstate them or give them new SKUs.

  Take care...Mike
