Issues with new Square Online system and checkout links. Items showing as not available?

[The title of this thread has been edited from the original: online checkout links not working for some, working for others]

 

Ever since Weebly and Square teamed up it's been nothing but a nightmare over here. We are a nonprofit art center, and had been using Square to run our in-person Art Market for over a year before we encountered problems. I would like to have a link for vendors to pay their fees online. Since it's a standardized fee due at the time they apply (so not something I want to chase around with an invoice), it makes sense for it to be an item. However, we can't seem to get any of the links to work, even after duplicating and just editing the content of items that already have working links.

 

Constantly says "not available". Inventory is set to 100, available at all 1 locations, has a SKU number.... Please help.

PS- we've unpublished our Weebly site after realizing that was a rabbit hole that was only making things worse on our end. Can we get 2018 Square back, please?

So sorry to hear about the experience you've had since we updated Square Online. Our intention was to make things easier and more functional for our sellers.

 

It looks like you've gone ahead and started using Square Checkout Links (different from online store), which is great, because from your description it sounds like it meets your needs a lot better.
