So I was excited to see the update of the new Font Color Selection UI, but then super disappointed when it wasn't working intuitively.
1. It's not letting me select a color that I want, saying that color wouldn't be legible, which it totally would be legible because it's on a White background. I appreciate the warning, but it should just be a warning and not literally lock me out of choosing the color.
2.a. It also doesn't give me the color picker on a per section basis as it should. Instead it limits me to some pre-set colors based on what single main color I chose for my theme. Really not cool. I want to choose a couple of main colors, depending on what I want them for. This is really limited.
2.b. I went into the color customizer, and first off, the Custom Colors picker for the theme are very much hidden. I was looking for them and couldn't find them. They should be right up there with the Main Color and Accent, and not hidden behind another click. Also, you can only pick 2 custom colors. I would want more options.
2.c. Also those Custom Colors are directly tied into the Header Bar Color and the Banner Text Color - which first of all, it doesn't tell you that so if you set up a custom color for text and then scroll up to see a bright red Header Bar - and second of all, it doesn't allow you to change those independently. So if you want a crisp header bar (white) you lose out on a custom color for text elsewhere in the page, since you can't have white text.
--- So the easy and simple solution is to go back to how it was before, and just set up a custom color picker for any/all text ---
3. I'd also want the option to make the Item Names a different color from the Item Descriptions in order to help them stand out a little bit more like the headlines do. This option is not available.
