Is there still an option to transfer a domain name to Square Online?

I own a domain name with Wix and I'd like to transfer it to Square Online. Following the instructions below, I find that I don't have the option to transfer the domain, only to connect it and maintain it with Wix.

To transfer in your domain to Square:

1. From your Square Online Overview page, go to Website > Domains.

2. Select Connect domain.

3. Under Use a domain I own elsewhere, type in the domain name you want to transfer and select Verify.

4. Select transfer your domain and follow the step-by-step instructions.

Step 4 tells me to select transfer your domain, but my only options are connect or connect manually. Am I forced to maintain my domain with Wix or is there still a way to transfer it to Square Online?

Hi,

I've followed the steps to transfer my domain from Wix, but I don't actually get any option to transfer. The only options I have are Connect or Connect Manually. Is a transfer no longer an option?

Hi there @spisherbocker 👋

Sometimes when going to transfer a domain, connect and connect manually are the only options that pop up. My advice is if this happens and you don't see the option "transfer my domain" in blue, go back and try entering your domain in the "Use a domain I own elsewhere" box again, and it should come up. The text is smaller and is not bolded so sometimes it can be missed.

This worked! I did have to completely close out the site and log in again, but it worked. Thanks!
