My customers are constantly forgetting to choose "shipping" instead of pickup (default) for their online orders and usually they figure it out or I email and tell/ask them about it when they aren't regulars in my shop. They always say, "the tax should cover shipping" but it doesn't work like that, since they system keeps track and my reports will be off if I choose to change this.
So, is there a way for the site to make users confirm their pickup/shipping method before purchasing OR can changes be made on my side? I haven't found a way to change it for them.

This would be considered a feature request at this time.
Customers are reminded or can clearly see their fulfillment selection on the checkout page so an additional screen may become an extra step that may cause the process of checkout to take longer. However, I will pass this feedback over to our Product team so they can possibly take this into consideration on future updates.
