Is /s/ needed in url?

I’d like to know if I can remove the /s/ between my domain url and the page names. For example www.bookstore.com/s/store

At this time it would not be possible to remove the /s/ from store pages. However, it should not be used for regular pages that you to your site, though. If you have any other questions feel free to post again!
