Is anyone else as frustrated as I am with the new catagory assignement for the online items!?!

PLEASE, for the love of all things good, change the catagory assignment BACK to the way it was.  This new procedure where you are directed back to a main catagory page (with POS and online catagories combined) is TERRIBLE and IMPOSSIBLE to use.  I don't understand why anyone though this was a good idea.  You all have broken a system that worked just fine the way it was.  There was no need to change it.

 

It is now impossible to assign an item to a catagory within the online item set up page.  Now what was one step, is two.  And the second step is difficult to do, as the search feature is so basic with the only filtering avaible being "stock quantities" (could you at least let us filter by vendor?)

 

You all are KILLING me with this update.

Hey @socialclubstudi.  This might help a little, for now.  Don’t try to edit items using the online item setup/editing page.  If you go to the main Item editor (dashboard > Items & Orders > Items > Item Library) you can edit an item and assign it to multiple categories right there.  You can also batch-edit multiple items and assign them all to the same categories at one time.  That should address your two-step issue.  I agree that when the online item editor redirects, it should redirect to the main editor, NOT to the category list.  It’s confusing, for sure.
