We have multiple square accounts and multiple users and this 2-step verification is annoying. It is not necessary for our business. How do I turn that off permanently?
Hi there @Ashokan-Center. From your web dashboard home page go to Account & Settings > Sign inn & Security. You’ll see the “Two-step verification” section. Click “Manage two-step verification.” At the top of that screen you’ll see a red button that says “Turn off two-step verification.” Click that and follow the instructions.
Hi, same issue here. I click on the "Turn off two-step verification" and nothing really happens. I mean, it stays the same, anybody had the same thing going on for them?

Hi @Luchogulminelli. Actually, yours is not the same issue. The OP was asking HOW to turn it off, which I replied to. You are saying that this process doesn't work for you. This probably means there is something going on that is account-specific for you, not that the functionality doesn't exist. For cases like this, you need to get on the phone with Square Support. They can sign into your account and check things out. Heck, they might be able to turn it off for you while you have them on the phone. Good luck.
