How to setup a Buy One Gift One Half Price gift card

Hello, I'm looking to setup a promotion of Buy One Gift Card and get the Second One Half-Off. I would like to do this for both online eGift Cards and my Plastic Gift Cards in the store.

I recently answered a similar question in another thread, where I shared steps for setting up discounts for eGift Cards. The short answer is that Square currently doesn’t support BOGO discounts for gift cards.

The easiest option available right now is to use the discount settings in your eGift Card Settings, as outlined in my previous reply.

If you’re using plastic gift cards and the gift card checkout flow in your POS app, Square doesn’t allow discounts on the card’s stored value.

At this stage, your best bet is to use the eGift Card discount feature, which lets you set a minimum spend amount that qualifies the customer for a percentage or dollar-value discount on their eGift Card purchase.
