How to set up different shipping rates for the same item in different countries?

I'm guessing the answer to this is no, but here goes: 

 

I have an item that I want to be able to post to the UK for £4 and the Rest of the World for £6. It's just one item. Can I set up two rates for it?

Hi there @PAINTERGIRL21, welcome to the Seller Community! 

 

It's not possible add two rates within one shipping profile, but you can create two different shipping profiles, one for the UK and one for the rest of the world.

To create your Shipping profiles: 

 

  1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard, then go to Account & Settings > Fulfilment > Shipping.

  2. Click Add new profile.

  3. Choose your profile Type from the drop-down menu:

    1. select Order to apply the profile to all orders available for shipping, or

    2. select Item to charge a custom rate or set a destination restriction for individual items.

  4. Enter a shipping profile name. This name won’t be visible to customers.

  5. Click Add countries to select the countries where you offer shipping. Click Done

  6. Click Add rate. Enter the rate name that will be visible to customers at checkout and choose a rate type. Click Done.

  7. Click Save when finished.

Create a profile for the UK and the rest of the world. 

 

Here's an example of the checkout on my test site where I added the same items to the basked and just changed the shipping address.

Thank you, but this doesn’t do what I need it to do. I have many different products, all of different weights and sizes, so a catch all rate just doesn’t work. 

My solution thus far is to offer a £2 voucher code for my UK customers. 

Although with the latest regulations rollout I think I’m wasting my time trying to satisfy ROW orders!

Hey, did you end up finding a solution to this without offering discount codes? Setting up the shipping with Square is proving to be a huge nuisance 😞
