We have a square website and when someone makes a purchase on the website, it is categorized as 'untracked team member'. How can I change this so we can see they are 'online / website' sales? We currently have no way of really separating our online sales from our in-store / in-person sales. Being able to better categorize and track this would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!
@FB2023 depending on how you are looking at your reports, on your online dashboard you can select sales summary, and then display by source and you will get a breakdown.
What specific report are you wanting to see this on or what specific application are you doing with it?
Besides what @Donnie-M has stated you could Name your instore devices. The in different reports or transactions you would have a Header as Device Name and still have the Untacked Team Member. Since I do not have a Square Online store I can not tell what is in that field for Online sales. I have my Devices named so I can see when we open the Second Ipad (Square Stand). Currently I have 3, 1 is Cash and CC, 2 is CC only, and the last one is Mobile for small local events. This use to me an issue because all 3 Ipads Device name from Apple was "Ipad". This is where Square gets its Device Name from. Just another way to Filter for Instore and which Pos was doing the selling.
