How to limit coupons to a single site?

I have multiple Square sites.  Is it possible to limit the use of a coupon to a single site?

Coupons are a universal setting if you have multiple sites in your account, however, if you sell different items per site, you can assign the coupon to only be valid for specific items or categories. 

Can you give us an example of a type of coupon you would like to use, and a specific reason why you would not want another site to validate the code?

We run multiple annual events, and we give each event its own site, and it would be nice to be able to limit coupons to a single event.

Do you plan on sharing the same items across your websites for these events or will you be creating unique items for each site? If you plan on using the same items, we wouldn't be able to limit the coupons, based on the explanation that @BernadetteA provided above.

Some items are the same, and some are different.  I understand that, at present, it is not possible to limit a coupon to a single site.
