Hello; is there a way for ust to place a hold/pre authorization on credit cards?
It's no good to simply have a card on-file for a large transaction, as when it comes time to bill, they may not have the balance available for it, or may cancel the card; which is usually handled by preauthorization.
This is pretty basic functionality for other card POS, so how do we do it in Square?

It looks like at this time, pre-authorization holds are available for Restaurant users only. We are hoping to expand it to other platforms eventually, but for now, it only available for Restaurant users.
