Hi
I am trying to sell a digital item https://square.link/u/9djEAmCH but at checkout it asks for a shipping address.
Here what ive tried so far, that hasn't worked.
-The item is set to digital
-I sell by connecting by payment link to a button on my website
-I dont collect tax
-When i try to disable shipping in the payment link settings it says "Please select at least one fulfillment method"
-My default item type is digital
-Collect shipping info is off for my online store
-My fulfillment method is set to Qr code/Kiosk since i dont do any of the other 3 for fulfillment. (Strange how there's nothing specific for online items)

Thank you so much for providing all of the details and steps you've already tried. Whenever you made these changes, did you re-publish your site? Sometimes that little trick can help in these instances.
Something else you could try, instead of the payment link - is going to Online, then Site Item to get to your list of items offered online. You'll click the three dots on the far right, then "Update fulfillment methods". It'll look like the screenshot below.
Please let me know if that doesn't do the trick or you were looking for something else. I am happy to circle back and will keep an eye out for your reply!
I'm having the same issue! I tried updating fulfillment methods and every time I check Self-serve but it doesn't seem to save / remember!
