How do I see if someone has paid when I’ve sent a link?

Hi. When I put an amount in the choose ‘send payment link’ how do I then see if they have paid - or, indeed, how do I even find a link that I’ve sent? The only way I can see it atm is if I go to my text messages app and go to the customers number then tap on the link I’ve sent them and it says paid or shows like I have to put my card details in then I can see they haven’t paid. 

with SumUp I can just go to transactions and choose ‘paid’ or ‘unpaid’ and boom there are all my payment links and normal reader transactions. 

does square do something similar? I don’t want to go back to SumUp!

I know exactly what you mean. Coming from another platform, it can feel a little confusing at first.

Have you checked your Invoices or Payment Links section in the Dashboard? Depending on how the link was created, you may be able to see whether it's been paid there rather than having to go back through your text messages.

Hopefully someone who uses payment links regularly can chime in, but you definitely shouldn't have to click the link yourself every time just to check the status. 🙂
