How do I edit tax rates for my online site?

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Tax rate changes

On April 1st my province in Canada changed the tax rate from 15% to 14%.

I've been begging Square/Weebly to make the change on their interface, but have been getting the runaround.

First I was told it would take a couple of days for the engineering team to make the change, then I was told it is a third party tax information provider?

What is going on here?

For 24 days I have not been able to take orders from within my own province unless I make an invoice myself. This is RIDICULOUS.

I'm so over having issues like this not being taken seriously by Square and Weebly.

Hello @WixiesJewels 👋

I'm sorry to hear you haven't heard back from our team on this issue.

You can manually edit tax rates for specific provinces. In this case, since your customers are completing payments via Weebly, you need to edit the tax rates from your Weebly dashboard and not Square.

Once in your Weebly dashboard, go to Settings > Sales taxes > click Edit next to tax rate for Canada. You'll see a pop-up window with all the provinces listed. You'll want to find your province and click Edit on the column on the right. Edit the tax rate as required and make sure to save changes for both the province and the country.

Hope this helps, but let me know if you run into any issues!

Thank you

Hey @WixiesJewels, when you have a moment, can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing when you click Settings > Sales Taxes? It'll help me with investigating this issue further.

And if possible, once you are logged into your account, please try clicking this link and let me know if you see the option to add tax rate like in the screenshot below.
