I see that there are three options
* Visible - Will be visible and available for purchase on your site(s).
* Hidden - Will be hidden on your site navigation but purchasable via a private link.
* Unavailable - Will be hidden and unavailable for purchase on your site(s).
Selecting Hidden or Unavailable and then click "Update" button.
BUT, I go and refresh my site and the item is still displaying on my square.site.
Is this feature no longer working?
Is there something else I need to do to apply the new preference for an item to no longer display on the site?
You can actually do this pretty simple in bulk. Go to the items screen and click the checkbox next to each item you want to update. Then that will expose some options at the bottom of the screen. Click on the “Actions” button and you will then see the option for “Update site visibility”.
Click that option and on the next screen update the items to the setting you wish.

I actually have the same question because I’ve been trying to hide certain items in my Square Online Store as well, but even after changing the visibility settings, the items still show up on the site. I followed the same steps going to the Item Library, selecting “Update Site Visibility,” choosing Hidden or Unavailable, and clicking Update but after refreshing the site, nothing changes. It’s really confusing because the interface makes it seem like the update should be immediate.
I’m also wondering if there’s an extra step we’re missing, like a cache refresh, republishing the site, or a setting elsewhere in the Square dashboard that overrides the visibility preference.
