Hiding the "Pick Up and Delivery" banner from the header section

I'm trying to remove the pick up and delivery banner from the header on the website homepage as I would like to use that for providing company info.  Is it possible to only have that banner show when the customer actually is ready to order (pressing the order now button in the top)?

Short answer @JoeRG is no unfortunately. 

I think it’s been a recent addition/change over the past month or so. 

I also find it really annoying! It seems to confuse customers if your Home Screen isn’t your ordering screen as they click on that to start their order but all it does is show address/dates. 

@AdamB - have I missed anything obvious? Would be really good to have that gone again 😂

Thanks for the info 400º.  It seems strange to have it non-removable.  Would be much better to have an on-off button for each page.  Seems to be silly to have it on every single page, if the customer just wants to find some info or our address, they are forced to select pick up or delivery.  🤔

Is it realistic to expect there to be a fix for this quickly?  😅

Thanks for writing in.

@400º is correct. This is our new site wide fulfillment and scheduling feature for the order online template. Unfortunately at this time, there is no way to remove it. However we will definitely share this feedback with the appropriate Product Team.

A workaround for the time being would be to switch your Square Online template from Order Online to Shop All. (To switch templates, you'll start by heading over to your online store editor,

(Square Online overview > Website > Edit Site). Click the Pages drop-down in top left-hand corner, find the Category Pages section, click the three dots, then select Switch template)

By switching to a Shop All template the Pick up and Delivery banner will no longer be visible.

Hey @JoeRG (and @Sam_400º), I just want to share a quick update on this thread as the Square Online team has rolled out the ability to hide the Fulfilment and Scheduling tab on the Homepage banner. To hide this:

1. Navigate to Square Dashboard > Square Online > Website > Edit Site
2. Select your homepage
3. Click into Banner and toggle the blue button next to Fulfilment and Scheduling off. 
   
   
   
   
4. Click Publish at the top-right hand corner to ensure that the change is reflected on the live site.

When you toggle this off, the order selection will only appear on the Order Online page and nowhere else.

Thank you for still remembering to update this query.  But I've just tried, but I don't see this option in my dashboard.  Is this only for the US market?  Is it available for the UK market?

Hi @JoeRG, just stepping in for Tra. 

I just tested it on my account and this feature is available to the UK market. 

In order to get the Fulfilment and Scheduling section to appear in the menu, I had to actually click on the banner itself. 

Let me know if that works for you!
