Help With Account Verification Status

I’m wondering can anyone help me I’m trying to set up my payments and despite having everything in my account verified and ready to go the pos retail app is still giving me trouble and not allowing payment to take place , saying  my account is not activated and continues to link me to the same help page. I’ve followed all steps , what am I missing ? Thank you to anyone who can help.

Welcome to the Community, and apologies for the delay in getting back to you on this. Your query appears to have slipped through the net on Friday!


Depending on your business structure, additional information may be required after the initial set up. Could you please log onto your account via the Dashboard web link below, and check if there are any actions left to complete in order to accept payments. You’ll find this set up guide action list on the centre screen of your Dashboard. 


If everything has already been completed in your set up guide including identity verification, it’s also worth checking if your bank account has been fully linked and verified, as this can take up to 4 business days to fully complete. You can check this from Settings > Account & Settings > Money > Bank Accounts.

 

If you're still having trouble after double checking that everything on your account has been successfully verified, I'd recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the Square app, and check that your device software is fully up to date. You'll find guidance on troubleshooting the Square app, here.
