Forwarding GoDaddy Domain to free Square site

I am trying to forward my domain name (hosted by GoDaddy) to my free Square site, but I can't seem to get it to work.  I am not sure if the issue is with Square or GoDaddy.  Has anyone successfully set up forwarding for their website name to a free Square site?

For reference, I was on a paid plan with Square for last 2 years where the domain was connected directly, but due to Square removing the plan I was on and asking double cost for the new plan it is not feasible for me to continue to pay for a Square plan when all I use is the domain connection benefit.  I thought domain forwarding might be the solution.

Forwarding should be pretty simple from the godaddy dash, but they’ve changed the layout a little over the last year or so I think. 

You can set up the redirect, but might be worth ‘resetting’ all the settings first to remove the connection to Square.

What is the domain currently live on your Square account and what is the domain you are trying to forward? And what is the blocker you're currently experiencing? 

Having a look at our support article here I'm not sure what you intend is possible, but once I know more about your set-up I can take a closer look.
