Feature Request: Can customers schedule pickup/delivery and select location before checkout?

It’s sooo annoying!!! You can only change the time and date when the customer puts all of their details in at the checkout. 

THIS NEEDS TO BE CHANGED!!!!!! It’s driving me crazy and effecting my sales! 

it’s ridiculous that you cannot change it before checkout. 100% of our customers have either had to call/come into store to order as they don’t think you can schedule a future time.

Thanks for your feedback!

As I understand it we're in the process of building a feature to allow scheduling delivery or pickup from within the cart. We've only just released this feature and our eCommerce team will continue to iterate on it.

In the meantime I'd add a text section to your website with messaging to let customers know they will be able to select pickup and delivery times during checkout. I'll update this thread when I hear of more about this feature becoming availale!

Where do you suggest I add the text box as you can’t do that at the cart?

@Gelatoalmare I'd suggest on the on your home page, or you could try a pop-up as well!

Good news that this feature is on its way - the main complaint from customers of our startup business has been the confusion about how to schedule pickup and delivery time.

I see that pickup time can now be scheduled in the shopping cart; well done and thank you. 

But not yet delivery time .... please keep working on that!!

@alecfearon You can also change Pickup time from the top of the main order page (recently released), provided the template is set to Restaurant, changes to delivery should be on the way soon too!
