Facebook Messenger Icon appears when page first begins to load but then disappears!

We built an online webpage through Square and selected the Facebook Messenger integration.  When our page begins to load, the Messenger icon appears for a second, but then disappears as the item cards populate.. we scrolled all the way up and down, and it's just gone.

Anyone have any ideas why?

Hello there, I am sorry you are having issues with the Facebook Messenger integration on your website. If you have already tried to disconnect and reconnect and are still having the same issue you will need to speak with Facebook about this issue. Although, we provide the integration all technical issues do need to be addressed by their support team. I appreciate your understanding and I hope this gets resolved! I appreciate your response, but that really makes no sense.

The messenger icon pops up when the page loads, but then disappears when the item cards load.  That tells me that the connection is there, but that Square's code does something to make it disappear as the loading progresses.
