Events checkout, but "How to get it" link shown?

There's a "how to get it" and then a "select order type" at the top of the checkout / shopping basket page, which when you click, a lightbox opens with what looks like a postcode pre-filled. The strange thing is, these are for event tickets, and there's no "how to get it" type feature I want - how do I remove/hide this abomination?

Hi @wd40,

I actually may have found an option for you on this. Assuming you have these items set to 'non-physical', the below may assist.

In Square Online:

  1. Go to 'Settings' > 'Checkout'
  2. Scroll down to 'Customer Experience'
  3. Select 'Edit Customer Inputs'
  4. Scroll down to 'Always collect buyer address for'
  5. Untick 'Non-physical items'

Once you've done that, can you check on your site front end again and see if it helped?

Hi @wd40! (Great username btw!)

I don't believe this is something that would be able to be removed at a seller level.

To be honest, I use a bunch of online shops for digital items and I still have to enter my full address etc (especially on Shopify, because it connects to my Shop app when it recognises my email and pre-fills everything for me).

It seems odd, I know, but it seems to be the norm with most e-com platforms, even though it doesn't make any sense for digital stuff.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
