Discount codes used when checking out with a giftcard

Hello,

For our website, we have many people checking out using a gift card that they have won at events. However, when they are checking out, they are applying discount coupons. Is there a way to disable using coupon codes when paying with a gift card? We do not want to disable all the coupons from being used.

Unfortunately there's no current option to do what you have in mind for online sales - you could submit a "Feature Request" for future consideration.  (It would be interesting if some other Community Members have a possible work around.)
