We are selling different items and services through our online store. Some need GST and PST and others just GST.
The GST is the ONLY type of tax checked off (PST is unchecked) when I set up our newest service in our store, but when the customer goes to purchase it, it charges both PST and GST....
Is there a fix for this?
I have the same problem. Sadly, the website does not use the same parameters than the POS...
I don't understand why they do that. it's here:

I wish this will change soon...
Thanks for posting, @Éd_Alaska01
Item level taxes will only apply to Square Online orders for pickup, delivery or self-serve orders. If the fulfillment is shipping, the taxes applied from POS will not apply.
Can you post a link to one of the items on your website that should have specific tax rules? We can try to confirm the settings.
Thanks in advance! 😊
Hello @BernadetteA,
Thanks for your answer. 🙂
That is exactly my point. When the fulfillment is "shipping", I would like to apply the same taxes as POS (which is not possible). What I want is to sell the books (with a single 5% tax) and for the delivery costs to be taxed with two taxes (5% + the provincial tax (which varies according to the place of delivery) [for example , in Quebec the provincial tax is 9.975%].
Here is a link from an item of the site.
Thank you for the help
