I am just doing some end of year banking and I have a few outstanding balances from square. i thought this was our admin error but I have just run all the transfer reports from square and these match the funds received in my bank but the transfer report does not match the sales summary on the square dashboard.
My accountant has confirmed we are using the correct reports from square and confirmed the balances are outstanding. We have cross checked the reports against the totals collected on the dashboard so the total amounts are minus the fees, refunds and discounts.
Anyone else experienced this? I am on hold to square but hoping someone on here might have an idea.
It is only from April 2022 until September 2022.
Hi @lottiebowyer, welcome to the Seller Community!
I'm not sure if you were able to resolve this over the phone with our support team but if not I have an idea which may help you correlate your reports, it's something that comes up frequently.
Payments are transferred according to your close of day or transfer cut-off time. If payments were accepted after your close of daytime, they’ll be included in the following transfer. This is likely why your Sales Summaries aren't aligning with your transfer/deposit reports.
In order to edit your business hours to make them match your sales summary, follow these steps:
Your daily sales summary email is automatically generated based on your business hours, so once the hours have been updated, your sales summary will be automatically adjusted.
Let me know if this helps!
