Customer Login to Purchase + Discount

Hello, it seems that the square interface is lacking quite a bit of fundamental features, including an option for sellers to sell only to customers who are allowed to create an account. 

Ex:

-Private access login for customers, not the public. Website visible to public.

-Customers can then purchase items via the site and have access to bulk discounts, or % discount on displayed price.

Just to confirm, are you wanting to only sell to customers that have private access? You won't need to offer different pricing options like regular sale price, and wholesale? 

We do not have an "account" feature, but there may be a work around we can suggest.

Yes, we would only be selling to customers with private access, but we wish to have the website displayed publicly. We would also have liked to add a "bulk quantity" discount depending on the amount of one item they purchase.

Hm.. the only work around I'm aware of at this time is to create two separate sites, then password protecting one site for customer purchases. 

I'm not sure how well this would work for you, but it's definitely doable. How does one become a customer? Do they fill out a form on your site, or is the a specific item or product they would need to purchase? 

We do not have a way to automatically apply a discount if items are purchased in bulk (other than creating an item variation) but you may be able to create an online coupon for the store.

I do not want to subscribe to 2 websites as I will only be needing one to sell. Is it possible to have the website displayed publicly but items can only be purchased by customers with login access?

Customers fill out a form on our website and once we are able to verify their information as an operating business, they will be able to purchase.

Hi @fcart,

Stepping in here for Bernadette. We don't have a feature like that at this time, but feedback like this is very helpful when planning for future releases. A whole password protected page is the only way to limit customers without approval from purchasing.
